A valued voice in the field of leukemia research, Dr. Guido Marcucci has been invited to deliver lectures and presentations at events held by a number of top universities and medical organizations. Among others, he has spoken before his peers at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Emory University, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer, the Moffitt Cancer Center at the University of South Florida, and Oregon Health and Science University. Currently. Dr. Guido Marcucci works as a professor with the Division of Hematology at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Previously, he served as the John B. and Jane T. McCoy Chair in Cancer Research at OSU’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.
When not attending to his myriad professional responsibilities as a teacher, researcher, and committee member, Dr. Guido Marcucci takes part in various pastimes and hobbies, including biking and playing soccer. Furthermore, he enjoys advancing his knowledge base in the field of quantum mechanics.
